This coming Friday (May 6, 2011), The Associates will be sharing the stage with Kero One, Hopie Spitshard, So Timeless, The Substitute Teachers, Jayne Baltazar, and many more! Proceeds will be going to the Tides Foundation aiding recovery efforts in Japan. Check out the Facebook invite and hit share!

Denim Day Benefit Concert

The Associates will be performing at The Denim Day Benefit Concert on April 30, 2011.
Denim Day grew from outrage because the Italian Supreme Court overturned a rape conviction. The argument against the conviction was that the victim’s jeans were too tight thus leaving the assumption that she helped the attacker remove her jeans. Since then, jeans have become an international symbol of protest against destructive attitudes about sexual assault.
